Registration Windows are also available online so you know the date you can register for spring classes. Your registration window is based on the number of credits you have completed prior to the start the semester. This includes UB work, as well as other transfer credits. Be sure you have sent all of your AP scores, transcripts from other colleges or universities, and any other alternative credit. Check your DARS report to make sure all of your AP and/or transfer credits have been received by UB. Listed below are some helpful websites regarding sending transfer credit to UB:

Make sure you do not have any checkstops, as they will prevent you from be able to register for spring courses. If you have a checkstop on your account, be sure that you take care of it immediately! Visit the Student Response Center’s List of Checkstops/Holds to find the appropriate contact office for their removal. You may also review your checkstops on MyUB.

If you have any questions about spring classes or any other academic related issues, be sure to meet with your academic advisor. If you do not know who your advisor is visit: http://advising.buffalo.edu/directory/index.php.
