READY @ UB (PDF) is an in-person discussion group and an online Facebook community sponsored by Student Advising Services (SAS). READY @ UB provides a unique opportunity for undergraduate students to engage in conversations with other UB students who are undecided or confused about majors. The READY @ UB Discussion Series is facilitated by Jillian Reading, SAS Graduate Assistant and Caitlin Haskell, SAS Undergraduate Peer Assistant.READY @ UB is for undergraduates who are:
- Undecided or confused about a major or minor
- Thinking about changing their major
- Seeking help with career exploration or navigation of UB resources

V-Day is a world campaign to end violence against women and girls. This being the campaign’s 10th year anniversary, we wanted to make sure our V-Day College Campaign at UB 2008 was the biggest it could be to ensure that we increased awareness of this global problem to our campus community. For more information on V-Day, please visit our website at www.vday.org.
Below, you will find information about all of the events going on for the campaign, which will take place next week, from March 24th-28th. 100% of our proceeds will go towards our beneficiaries, Crisis Services, the International Institute of Buffalo, and the Women of New Orleans. Tickets are actually available for all events now at the SBI Ticket office located in 221 Student Union.

Leave your hand print on the windows of the Student Union
(we will have black, white and pink paint with which people can make their hand print and sign their name and a visual representation of the campaign going on that week)

This course is designed to prepare students for positions of leadership, enhancing their skill building in the areas of conflict resolution, communication, problem solving, decision making, and much more. This course is highly interactive and uses experiential activities as the context for learning.
UBE496: Leadership & Service EducationRegistration # 289347(Instructor permission is NOT required.)Thursdays, 3:00p.m. – 4:40p.m.This course is an advanced leadership course that prepares students to become facilitators and educators of leadership through teambuilding, community service, and presentation experiences. This course is recommended for those students who have had previous leadership experience and/or have taken UBE 102 or UBE 110 (leadership sections). Students in this course will gain the important skills of facilitating teambuilding activities for groups, planning and processing community service experiences, and developing their presentation and public speaking skills. This course is a pre-requisite to becoming a Leadership-Service Educator in the Center for Student Leadership & Community Engagement.
