What is a Registration Window?
Your Registration Window is the date on which you will be able to register for classes for the Spring 2007 semester. This date is based upon how many credit hours you have completed , and does not include the number of credit hours for which you are currently registered.
Please find you date below. You should have your class schedule worked out before your date and always have alternative options just in case classes are closed.

With the new semester already in session, there are numerous of things students have to juggle and take care of. Our UB Scholars “Take Care of Yourself” wellness workshop is being held on Friday, September 23rd from 1pm- 2pm in room 330 in the Student Union. A representative from the Wellness Services will be there to provide information on how you can take care of things such as time management and stress relief. There are a variety of resources on campus that your student fees pay for in which you can develop ways to keep healthy and happy during your first year of college. If you would like to sign up for this workshop, please e-mail Jacqui Hollins at jhollins@buffalo.edu

In case you haven’t heard, this Tuesday, September 19th there will be no classes due to the events with the Dalai Lama. If you are attending and are driving to campus for it, we suggest you get here early in the morning and be prepared for delays. Also, you will find that parking will also be limited on Monday and Wednesday because of various events so please be prepared for that.

Hello UB Scholars! We hope you’ve had a successful first week of school and we would like to update all of you on a few important events coming up. Please note that the last day to drop or add classes is Friday, September 8th. That is also the last day to submit an S/U grading request. Monday, September 4th, is the Labor Day Holiday so there will not be any classes that day and the campus will be closed. We will resume again on Tuesday, September 5th.
As some of you may have noticed the first and second edition of The Spectrum was distributed across campus this week. Please take the time to read it because there is a lot of information in it that you might want to know regarding various events and job opportunities.
For those of you who are interested, Fall Fest will take place earlier than usual, Friday, September 8th and is free to all UB undergraduate students so be sure to have your ID card with you. The featured artist is Sean Paul.
If you don’t already have tickets to see His Holiness the Dalai Lama, please be advised that free tickets are still available to UB students. The dates, times and location to receive these tickets are as follows:
September 5- 10:00am-7:00pm Alumni Arena/ September 6, 11:00am-3:00pm Alumni Arena & 5:00pm- 8:00pm Ellicott Food Court/ September 7, 11:00am-4:00pm & 6:00-8:00pm Harriman Hall (south campus)/ September 9, 9:00am-12:00pm Alumi Arena & 1:00pm- 4:00pm Harriman Hall/ September 11, 10:00am-3:00pm-Alumni Arena.
I would advise that you arrive early because a line will form about 30 minutes before. Also, make sure you have your UB ID card with you. This is a wonderful opportunity and we hope that you will all be able to attend the Dalai Lama’s lecture and other related events.
