Is this your first semester at UB? Are you experiencing any academic difficulties? If so, it is important to note that the university has an Extended Resignation period for first semester freshmen.
Therefore, if this is your first semester at UB, you have until Friday, November 11 to resign from a course. However, you need an Academic Advisor’s assistance to resign.
If you are a first semester student and are struggling in a class, please consult with your academic advisor or the UB Scholars staff to explore the possibility of resigning from the course.

Also, please remember the importance of meeting with your academic advisor so you can make sure you are enrolling in the appropriate courses.

For the upcoming spring semester, the Libraries are offering 2 sections of the information literacy course, ULC257: Library Research Methods. As a
reminder, students who successfully complete this 2-credit course are
given a waiver for their Library Skills Workbook requirement.
