Overview
The University Scholars Mentoring Program is designed to help freshmen Scholars with their adjustment to the university by pairing them with an upper level Scholar who will serve as a resource person. Scholar Mentors will assist first-year Scholars with their transition from high school to higher education by providing students with information on how to adapt to campus life and how to become an active member of the university community. Former Mentors and Mentees have given positive feedback on their experiences in the Mentoring Program, and Mentees have indicated that the program was helpful with their first year adjustment to campus.
